Hy there sparklineers, it’s been over than two weeks without post and much happened during that time.
I’ve begun to rent the domain name for the project, Alcyon-Infinity.com, and started recruiting a team to help with the tremendous load of work ahead.
First of all I need people to fill the Universe with creation goo! We have the bases, a map, some factions, some races and a general storyline description. I’m proud to announce that we will feature two completely different storylines with lots of action/sex/epicness/choices and adventure in the depths of space.
Then we need people to get the web part running, a good looking website, a good looking forum and a responsive download thingy-thing for the beta when it comes out.
As I’d prefer getting the game come out without too much coder-made-paint-ugly-everything and more than one Ship type I need graphs guys, for artworks, menus, …
So how hey it’s going on nicely no? Well in fact it is, but… I just discovered the trouble of getting people to work, and the trouble of being nice with people who say crap in order not to Nazify my image as a team leader.
FUCK IT’S HARD! graphs not responding, nobody on the private dev forum, people messing for « justice » because they want to be credited a scenario’s « original-idea » that takes 5 lines or crap.
But hey that’s for great justice! Even if I have to make all the graphs on paint, even if I have to write all the missions, even if I have to use only one ship type. I’ll do it because I believe it can end being a really good game, one that people remember playing at 3 a.m a monday morning!
Because I can do it, and because it needs to be done!
